Busy Bees was established in 1983 by three families - all involved in care and education - who still lead the business today. Not finding the childcare they wanted for their own kids, they began their own nursery, The Rocklands, which opened in March 1984. The standards of childcare they demanded for their own kids back then are still enthusiastically preserved today in every facility managed by Busy Bees across the country.
