Merseyside ICT was established in November 2003 by David Bold. Its purpose was to represent the ICT sector on Merseyside and was funded by a mixture of the North West Development Agency and the European Social Fund. The firm was steered by Frank Coward of Gardner Systems and David Bold of Software Generation with Steve Smith as the operational manager. The firm was domiciled in the premises of Gardner Systems.
